Men's Clothing Collection

The Buffalo City Mission has identified a few special needs as winter approaches - men's sweatsuits, sweatpants, sweatshirts, and new packages of men's underwear. The City Mission provides a new sweatsuit to each man who stays with them to keep warm during the cold months. Please consider making a special purchase and donating a sweatsuit, knowing that it will soon belong personally to someone in need.

Non-Perishable Food Collection

The children's Sunday School classes will be collecting non-perishable food items during the month of October. Items collected are donated to food pantries that serve Lancaster residents and those in other local communities. Please consider donating this time of year, as we prepare to give thanks for what God has given to us.

All food donations can be placed in designated boxes at the entry doors around the church or given to the preschool students that collect items from classrooms each week.

Fall Adult Ss Classes 2018
Bible 101: Getting the Big Picture - NEW Adult Class Starts

Interested in getting an overview of the Bible from Adam & Creation through Jesus? Need a brush up on main Biblical teachings and events? Have little or no Bible background at all? Want to better understand the Bible to share with others? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then this class is for you! Adults of all ages are invited to take a walk through the Bible, discussing the 66 books of the Bible with a close look at Creation, the Resurrection, the Virgin Birth, heaven, and hell. Rudy Bucci will lead this class.

What they Didn't Teach You in Sunday School - NEW Adult Class Starts

There are many people and events in the Bible which aren't all covered during your typical children's Sunday School curriculum. This class is a chance to dive into some of the lesser known, unusual or forgotten people and stories in the Bible to see what they have to teach. So whether you feel you have a little or a lot of Bible knowledge, gather in and prepare to learn something new, as teacher and discussion leader, Kelly Harty brings these people and events to life.

Fall Missions Conference

Hear from missionaries serving both locally and around the world in this fall's mission conference - A Vision for the Harvest: Why We Serve in the Hard Places. Listen as Keynote speaker, Rob A. from World Outreach, brings a variety of messages throughout the weekend. Enjoy workshops with various missionaries as well as chances to pray over these missionaries serving around the world.

Soups On
Soup Sunday - November Edition

Stay after services to enjoy some delicious homemade soups & desserts while getting to know others in the congregation. This month you can talk with fellow church-goers or with the missionaries visiting for the weekend conference. Contact Mike B. or sign up in the upper foyer if you would like to make a soup or dessert. No reservations necessary. This is a FREE event and all are invited!

Fall Youth Mini Camp
3rd-6th Grade Fall Mini-Camp

A follow-up to Summer Youth Camp, all 3rd-6th graders are invited to take part in the fall mini-camp! This overnight weekend camp includes interactive lessons, songs, delicious food, and lots of fun! Games and activities will keep campers engaged all weekend as they travel on an Amazing Race to learn about God's amazing GRACE.

Campers will stay in a cozy lodge or heated cabins during the weekend. Events are run by many of the counselors and staff from our Summer Youth Camp. Make it a great weekend to re-connect! Registration and permission slip are required by Sunday, Nov. 4th.

Cost: $75 per camper (scholarship available upon request)

Worship with us during an evening service focusing on giving thanks to God for the blessings He gives us each day. Both traditional and contemporary worship styles and music will be combined during this special service. Pete Gawron, Director of Family & Youth Ministries will bring the Thanksgiving message.
