College and young adults gather together for an evening of food, games, a Q & A with older group members and lots of time to get to know one another. Whether you are newer to Lancaster Presbyterian Church, a high school senior or a college student returning home for the holidays, this is the place for you! Head over to the Dunbar house following the Thanksgiving Eve worship service for a fun evening.

Winter Retreat
Cold Snap Retreat at Seneca Hills – Junior & Senior Highers

7th – 12th grade youth are invited on a winter retreat! Gather with youth from other churches at Seneca Hills Bible Camp & Retreat Center in Pennsylvania to spend a weekend worshiping through scripture, music and prayer, and growing closer to God through messages throughout the weekend. Sessions with the lead speaker encoourage youth to grow closer in their relationship to God. Other highlights of the weekend include large group games and activities, Gaga ball, a rock climbing wall, skits, delicious food, and just hanging out with one another. Transportation from Lancaster is provided for those attending.

The cost is $100 per student.

Please Note: All students must register through the Seneca Hills website AND through Pete Gawron at Lancaster Presbyterian Church (permission slip needed).

Come and join us for an evening of praising God! Doors will open for coffee at 7:00pm in Waith Fellowship Hall, followed by a time of praising God through live contemporary music, prayers of praise and testimonies of how God is working through His people starting at 7:30pm in the Main Sanctuary.

Soup Sunday Lunch - December

Stay after services for the December installment of Soup Sunday. A wide variety of delicious homemade soups & desserts are avaialbe to enjoy, while getting to know others in the congregation. Contact Mike B. or sign up in the upper foyer if you would like to make a soup or dessert. No reservations needed for this FREE event. Please note: The December Soup Sunday will begin following the annual Congregational Meeting (which begins at 12:15pm).

Searching for God through Music: Stories of the Carols

This special FREE event will explore the lives of the composers, the music and the symbolism starting with the earliest known Christmas Carols, through some of the most popular Christmas music of today. Dinner and dessert is open to the entire community as a way to gather together during the Christmas season. Canoe Trip
Confirmation Class Algonquin Canoe Trip

This Lancaster Presbyterian Church sponsored canoe trip is for youth entering and completing confirmation class. It provides these students opportunity not only to get close to nature, as rewarding as that is, but more importantly the opportunity to get close to God, the Creator. During the trip participants will see, in a unique way, the beauty of the world He created and gave us but to explore our place and purpose as He designed us to be.
