Join us at the Lancaster Town Hall for a time together in prayer for our country.  All are welcome!

Ever since Christians came to this continent, there have been times when they were called to gather in prayer.  In 1952 Congress passed a bill saying that the President of the United States was to set aside an appropriate day each year as a National Day of Prayer. President Truman signed it into law.  In 1988 President Reagan signed a bill designating the first Thursday in May as the official National Day of Prayer.

“I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.  God calls us to pray, He hears our prayers and He answers.” I Timothy 2:1-2
