Small Groups Ministry at Lancaster Presbyterian Church
Small groups are the back bone of our church. They allow for a place where adults can connect with one another, get to know others as more than just a smiling face on Sunday mornings, and most importantly grow and strengthen one another in faith. Most small groups are comprised of both men and women from all walks of life and in all stages of faith development. With a variety of days and times to choose from, small groups are a place for all adults to connect!
Are you disturbed by the rapidity of change in societal values in the United States of America in the past 10-15 years? It seems that the culture we knew just a few years ago is under siege and hardly recognizable.
Do you feel like the Babylonians are at the gates and there is no hope?
This fall, the Small Groups will be discussing “Strange New World” by Carl Trueman, professor of biblical and religious studies at Grove City College. He is an “esteemed church historian and a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center.” Through DVDs, articles and discussion, we will apply a biblical worldview to some of the most pressing issues in our nation today.
Our Small Group Ministry will be starting back up again in September! This is time together to study, pray and hold each other up in this journey called the Christian life!
Our Small Groups meet in various member’s homes to enjoy a meal together, learn about God’s Faithfulness through fellowship, study God’s Word and share what God is doing in your life. Please prayerfully consider joining a Small Group this year, you will truly feel blessed!

The young adults' small group is a branch of our larger small group ministry for adults. Like the other small groups, this group meets for dinner, Bible discussion and prayer, but is specifically geared toward those in early adulthood. It is a place for young adults to grow alongside peers, sharing struggles and encouraging one another in their faith.
The group is composed of men and women in their 20's and early 30's, including college students, singles, and couples, in all stages of life. The young adults' small group gathers for dinner starting at 6pm and ends the study around 8:30pm. Some leave at the conclusion of the study and prayer time, while others stay later to socialize or play games.
