Dinner and Bible for Young Adults
Monday Evenings: 6-8:30pm; May - August
Location: Young's Home & Babcock's Home
Facilitators: Becky Young, Carolina Jackson, Marie Babcock
Dinner and Bible, or DaB as it is often referred to, is for college and career age, single young adults who like to eat, hang out and play games, and think about what God has revealed in the Bible and how it affects our lives. Expect engaging discussions on the hard questions you often face at college or in the work place.
This group is designed to
meet the needs and address the questions facing young adults both at
work and school. Whether you're a long time believer or still unsure,
this is the place for you to dig deeper and gather answers to the tough
questions; the facilitators look forward to meeting you where you are at.
The group meets weekly on Monday evenings from mid-May through mid-August, when students tend to be home from college. There are also special events throughout the year including Honeoye Lake, 4th of July float building, camping trips and other peer-planned fun events. A Thanksgiving Eve Party and Christmas Eve Party are also organized around the holidays. From September through April young adults are encouraged to participate in biweekly small groups.
The first DAB gathering for the Summer of 2023 is Monday, May 15th at 6:00pm at the Young's home in Lancaster.
